200 highly developed civilizations hidden in the galaxy?

Frank Drake, the founder of scientific research searching for extraterrestrial civilizations, believes that there are at least 200 highly developed civilizations hiding themselves somewhere in our galaxy. Drake's followers estimate that the number is now between 10,000 and 1 million!

The world's largest computer network is connected to SETI (The Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence). And anyone who downloads a computer program SETI @ home will be able to process the data provided by the world's largest radio telescope in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. The telescope receives signals from all galaxies but does not have time to categorize them all. More than 5 million PCs worldwide participate in the project.

The strongest telescopes are pointing to the sky to scour the life signals in the constellations of the Tau Whale, Eridan's Epsilon, and a sphere of 13 in the constellation Hercules. But until now, every attempt to find any intelligence in space has ended in failure.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is conducting a new project called Cyclops for $ 10 billion. 1,000 telescopes will be installed about 15km apart. These telescopes will be tuned to receive 'wandering' signals within 1,000 light years.

People have repeatedly attracted the attention of aliens by sending all kinds of messages and objects into deep space . Capsule contains the earth's coordinates in the galaxy; basic physical constants and DNA codes; Bach music tapes; and paintings of Egyptian pyramids were also sent into space on spacecraft. But there was absolutely no answer from aliens.

A radio signal from the earth takes 10,000 years to reach the nearest stars, and so it is too early to lose patience. In addition, there are 200 billion stars in a single galaxy. The time required to solve global problems depends on progress in microelectronics and radio telescope technology.

A recent study conducted by Canadian scientists showed that the Earth is younger than similar planets in other solar systems by 2 billion years. The famous astronomer Josef Schklovsky is Picture 2 of 200 highly developed civilizations hidden in the galaxy? Seth Shostak , the leading astronomer of the SETI Institute in California (photo: seti.org) is an active supporter of the problem of extraterrestrial civilizations. However, he changed his mind at the end of his life and came to an unhappy conclusion: humans are unique in the universe! And some skeptical scientists share this view.

Seth Shostak, the leading astronomer at the SETI Institute in California, judged that rapid progress in these areas will allow people to discover intelligent life in our galaxy in 20 years. The study could be useful for Mars and Europe - a massive natural satellite of Jupiter. Collected data shows that Mars has large reserves of ice and ancient water. But Mars has no atmosphere. The diameter of Europe is 4 times smaller than the earth.

The satellite was discovered by Galileo in 1610, and a few years ago the Galileo probe collected important data about Europe. This satellite is surrounded by a thick layer of ice above the ocean with a depth of 50 km. Perhaps the earth and Europe are the only two places in the solar system that have huge water reserves. Also, Europe has an atmosphere containing oxygen. Scientists still need to find out whether biological oxygen originates as oxygen on earth.
