A resident of Coquimbo City, Chile, recorded an image of a ball of light appearing far away by phone, Mirror said on October 15. The video was shot from the window of the memorial Cruz del Tercer Milenio 83 meters high.

"Can't say everything I see is a spaceship. We encounter many strange things but 99% have a reasonable explanation like satellites, meteorological phenomena or artificial products," Marco Antonio Gomez , Chilean UFO researcher, said.

"If UFOs are found, calm down and record to the end. Many videos break too soon and may make us unable to find the cause," Gomez added.
