Catching the biggest 'monster' shark in England, could not pull on the boat

A 'monster' shark caught by British fishermen off Wales, the Daily Star reported.

Sharks weigh up to 150kg and belong to the species of Porbeagle - a species with a family of Great White Shark.

It is believed to be the largest Porbeagle fish ever caught in England, making fisherman Craig Deans and teammates unable to take it to the boat without the help of nature.

The shark is 2.4 meters long and weighs 150kg.

Deans told the Daily Star: "People told me that it might be the biggest fish caught off Wales but this has not been officially confirmed.

"I have never seen any such big fish even though I certainly have bigger fish out there. When I saw its size, I was quite shocked.

"At some point, it even jumped out of the water - like when the Great White Shark jumped and attacked the seal.

"We tried for a while to pull it onto the boat but it was impossible even though we had all the equipment. Luckily, there was a big wave that helped catch the fish on the boat."

After taking photos with the creature, Deans released the fish to the sea.

Porbeagle is a popular shark off the coast of England. They are one of the most valuable sharks, with meat and fins sold at high prices worldwide.
