Change the speed of your bike by thought

A US company that makes bicycles allows drivers to change their speed with thought thanks to a special helmet.

Innovation News Daily reported that Deeplocal, a high-tech product marketing company based in the United States, has created bicycles that allow riders to change speed with thought. Patrick Miller, Deeploacal's creative engineer, is responsible for creating the wireless signaling system in the helmet to change the speed of the car. Parlee Cycles, the company that produces carbon fiber racing bikes, develops Deeplocal's chassis.

The electrodes inside the helmet continuously detect electrical signals from the brain. Then the system sends the signal to a computer inside the driver's vest.

"The computer will convert the signals into corresponding commands, such as increasing the number or decreasing the number." The command will be sent to a tiny control device in the bicycle frame. the speed of the car, " Miller explained.

Miller insists Deeplocal only applies the old technology to the Prius, the name of the new bike.

"It is the result of the synthesis of existing technologies , " Miller said.

Electronic speed switches, including brakes, are hidden inside the frame. Putting the strings on the frame makes the drag of the air drop, thereby increasing the speed. The helmet detection system can not understand the command to increase or decrease the speed in the human brain. Instead, the driver must be trained to create commands in the brain so that the system can be identified.

The downside to the system of converting electrical signals in the brain into a baton speed command is that it can stop working due to the effects of waves from mobile phones or laptops.
