China: Going for a walk, stumbling across a 66 million year old dinosaur egg

4 students accidentally discovered 6 dinosaur eggs 66 million years ago when going out in rural areas of Jiangxi province, southern China.

According to Mirror, the video shows students finding dinosaur eggs, which at first glance look like ordinary stones, surrounded by thick mud.

The group of students brought the eggs to a local museum to verify. The museum then contacted an expert from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

'Strange stones' were later identified as fossil dinosaur eggs , dating from the Ky Phan Trang, period 145 million years - 66 million years ago.

Fossil dinosaur eggs are currently stored at the local museum.

Jiangxi Province , China, has been the site of a series of dinosaur fossils over the years. It is also called the 'home of the dinosaurs'.

According to the researchers, Shaanxi province is one of the most active places on dinosaurs on Earth.
