China released more mysterious 'glassware' on the Moon

Chinese scientists have published a new image of the mysterious material found on the lunar surface, which has puzzled the scientific community for weeks.

According to RT TV channel, to ordinary people, this image is like a picture of rock. However, the photo taken by China's Yutu-2 lander will likely reveal the true origin of the mysterious material.

Yutu-2 landed on the dark side of the Moon on 2 January during a historic landing. A few months later, Yutu-2 discovered this strange material for the second time through a 2-meter-wide depression on Earth's natural satellite.

Through the latest published image, researchers still agree that this is a dark glass form, formed by the impact of meteorites. The explosion appears to have heated up the minerals on the lunar surface, turning them into a substance similar to what astronauts aboard Apollo 17 had previously found.

'I think the most reliable information here is that the material is quite dark , ' ' Dan Moriaty, an expert at Goddard Space Flight Center, told Space.com.

Since 2015, China has mentioned its intention to send a probe to a dark moon. Dark areas on the Moon are parts of the human body that are never visible from the Earth. There is always one side of the Moon facing the Earth, while the rest towards the cold dark universe should be covered with black.

In fact, it is understandable that the dark area is the moon's night side, while the other side can be observed from the Earth by receiving sunlight and being the daytime face.

Although China entered the space race quite late, for decades, Beijing has 'injected' billions of dollars into research and training in this area. China is the third country in the world to successfully explore the Moon, after the US and Russia.
