* Bueren staircase has 374 steps in Liège city, Belgium , built in 1881. According to the website The Huffington Post (USA), this is the harshest staircase in the world.

* The Chand Baori well has 13 steps with 3,500 steps on the sides that are always the top tourist destination of Abhaneri city, near Jaipur in the state of Rajasthan, India. The temperature in the well is always maintained at 5 o C.
