Detecting fossils dinosaurs across the 7-storey building

The fossil bones of a dinosaur believed to be the largest animal that ever appeared on Earth, 40 meters long and 20 meters high, were found in Argentina.

Weighing in at 77 tons, it weighs the equivalent of 14 African elephants and weighs 7 tons more than the world's largest known animal, the Argentinosaurus dinosaur.

A new bone of dinosaur fossils was discovered.

Scientists believe this is a new species of giant dinosaur - a herbivorous dinosaur that lived at the end of the Cretaceous period.

A local farmer accidentally discovered dinosaur fossil bones in the desert near La Flecha, about 250km west of Trelew, the Patagonia region.

A group of paleontologists from the Egidio Feruglio Paleontological Museum, headed by Dr. Jose Luis Carballido and Dr. Diego Pol, then excavated the fossils.

A total of 150 bones of 7 individuals were found.

They found incomplete skeletons of 7 individuals - a total of 150 bone fragments, all in a relatively intact condition.

By measuring the length and circumference of the largest femur, paleontologists think the dinosaur weighs 77 tons.

'Based on the size of the bones, which is larger than any known giant animal, the giant is the largest animal that ever appeared on Earth , ' the researchers said.

'Length from end to end is 40m. Its height is about 20m, equivalent to a 7-storey building, ' the researchers added.

New dinosaurs are not yet named.

'It will be named according to size and to remember the area and the local farmers warned us about this discovery,' the scientists said.

Previously, there were many opponents for the title of 'the largest dinosaur in the world'.

The largest known dinosaur in the world is Argentinosaurus, also discovered in Patagonia.

Argentinosaurus was originally believed to weigh about 100 tons but was later thought to weigh about 70 tons, 7 tons lower than the newly discovered dinosaur.
