Thanks to the Hubble telescope, five planets thousands of miles away from Earth are found to have atmospheric water, and they are named respectively: WASP-17b, HD209458b, WASP-12b, WASP-19b and XO -1b.

According to Space.com, the five planets in this study are all in the form of hot Jupiter , a giant planet that is close to the central star.

Although it is not the first time astronomers have found signs of atmospheric water in a distant planet, the new study of the University of Maryland (USA) is the first report to present the results of measurements and A very specific comparison of the signs that allow life to exist in different planets.

'We have seen water signs on many planets', according to Avi Mandell, planetary scientist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt (USA).
