Marine officials took samples from the body for analysis. The body of this white-gray creature stinks, forcing authorities to put it to destruction. They think this is the body of a whale.

"We can now identify this as a whale , but it is unclear exactly which species. The tissue sample was taken to the laboratory for DNA analysis. The local authorities will bury the body. Its smell is very horrible, like coming from another planet, " said Vox Krusada, officer at the fisheries agency.

Some local residents expressed concern that the dead creature signaled an imminent earthquake. A corpse of a similarly shaped creature washed over Dinagat Island, Philippines in February last year. Authorities speculate that the killer whale or manatee.
