Discovered the phenomenon of King Tut's grandfather

The second statue of King Tut's statue of him was discovered at a tomb where he was buried, the Egyptian Minister of Antiquities said yesterday, May 31.

According to Minister Zahi Hawass, the flower-plaster statue shows King Amenhotep III sitting and wearing a Nemes women's headscarf, a frilly dress and royal beard. The headscarves of the Nemes are scarves behind a king's ears and over his shoulders.

The statue was discovered at Kom el-Hettan, located on the west bank of Luxor. The statue is set in the hallway leading to the third gate of the crypt, about 200m below the giant Memnon Statue, the statue stands guard at the first gate.

These archaeological discoveries continue to shed more light on Tutankhamen, the male king who ruled Egypt from 1333 BC to 1324 BC, during the period of ancient Egyptian history known as Wang new country. Lead that King Tut is the most famous king among Egyptian kings but many mysteries still exist about his parents as well as his life and death.

" This statue is the northern statue of a pair of giant statues that were once placed at the gate of the third tower, " Mr. Hawasss wrote on his personal website. An earlier excavation discovered the back of one of the two statues.

Hawass said both statues may have been dumped in an ancient earthquake. Stone, taken from the Hatnub quarry in central Egypt, is rarely used for such giant statues. The pair from Kom el-Hettan is the only samples preserved by their size, reaching the height of 18m.

Another statue of King Tut's grandfather, made of red granite, was announced in October 2010 and showed that the king was wearing a double crown and sat on a throne next to Theban Amun.
