The treasure consists of over 100 gold coins weighing about 400gr with an estimated value of more than $ 100,000 (about 2 billion VND).

These coins were hidden in ceramic pots in Appollonia National Park, where archaeologists say the town of the Apollonia-Arsuf Crusaders was once prosperous. The search was conducted under the auspices of DH Tel Aviv and the Israel Natural and Parks Authority.

The objects are found including 108 gold coins, weighing from 1 - 4gr. This gold is not new and is clearly part of the wealth of a wealthy family. They were cast in Egypt about 250 years before being buried in the excavated basement bricks more than 30 years ago.

In addition, scientists also discovered hundreds of arrows and some other weapons such as stones used to fire Y-shaped guns, showing that this place was once a fierce battlefield.

GS. Oren Tal of Tel Aviv University said that hiding the treasure into a broken bottle and then burying it in the fortress of Crusader proves that the hidden person intended to return, but for some reason had to give up.

The Crusader Fort was discovered some time ago, at the same time discovering the vestiges of the port city at the time of the Pharisees. Archaeologists also found the ruins of a villa in Rome, a road leading to a well-preserved market dating back to the beginning of Islam and a very wide welcome gate.
