The Calotes species is 10cm long and has many spines on its back.

When flirting with females, male C.bache lizards can quickly turn themselves colorful with colorful, jade-green heads that look like metal helmets to appeal to their partners.

However, they are very similar to chameleon in that they show off their color and change color when there is no need for reproduction, or in different circumstances, different times of day. At night, they are dark and slightly brown to quietly blend into the surrounding environment.

The habitat of lizards has just been discovered not only in tropical forests but also in the bustling urban area like Ho Chi Minh City, in the park or the brilliant flower garden.

The name Calotes bachae is named after Rike Bach, a German, who recognized the merits of many trips to discover Indochina.
