Divers believe that this is the legendary Hanneke Wrome of the 15th century, in distress during a sea storm. According to historical documents, the ship was sunk while carrying more than 200 people including passengers and crew. In addition to coins and jewelry, there are 200 cloths and 1,200 honey jars on board.

" This is one of the biggest losses of the maritime industry at that time and not the only one that happened on this route, " said Rauno Koivusaari, who led the divers, said.

Hannake Wrome was one of two ships that departed on November 11 , 1946 in Luebeck, Germany, to the city of Tallinn, Estonia. Big storm pushed two ships into Finnish waters, where Hanneke Wrome was in trouble. The remaining train arrives safely in Tallinn.

According to Xinhua, the Finnish National Antiquities Commission is planning to study the shipwreck this summer.
