Find out why the right-handed person is more than the left-handed person

Recently, scientists have found the reason why right hand is the dominant hand of most people.

>>>Causes of left-handed humans

Every human being is a separate individual, no one resembles anyone. However, there is a common thing in most of us, which is a right-handed characteristic. It is estimated that 85% of the world's population has the right hand. In addition, according to archaeologist Natalie Uomini of the University of Liverpool, there has never been any document mentioning the left-handed majority in society throughout the length of human history.

Behavioral research experts seem to have found the answer to the phenomenon. According to them, any handedness is determined by the activity of the brain . Most of us use the left hemisphere more. And through the crossed nervous system, this hemisphere is responsible for controlling the operation of the arms, the body and the right leg.

The difference between the two hemispheres is the cause of the phenomenon

To test this hypothesis, expert Stephanie Braccini and her colleagues conducted an experiment on chimpanzees - relatives of humans. They found that, in chimpanzees and four-legged primates, they did not have the same humanity. Thus, any handedness only appears when the gibbon starts to stand up and walk with both legs.

Since then, experts have said that it is possible that right-handed characteristics formed during human evolution from millions of years ago. Initially, the brain evolved leading to a division of activity between the left and right hemispheres about half a billion years ago. Accordingly, the left hemisphere is responsible for finding food and doing daily tasks, while the hemisphere must develop in relation to quick reactions, hiding or adapting to the living environment.

Since ancient times, prehistoric people mainly used their right hands to do everyday tasks

As soon as humans start using their hands, the functional asymmetry of the two hemispheres of the brain causes the above right-handed condition. Archaeological evidence also contributed to prove it. The stone tools fossils of Homo habilis and Homo erectus (1.5 million years ago) all show that predecessors primarily used the right hand. The result is similar to archaeological analysis of Homo heidelbergensis (600,000 years ago).

However, according to scientists, that does not mean the left-handers are weird people. In fact, studies prove that left-handed people are better able to recover from brain injury than normal people. At the same time, they also have an advantage in high-competitive sports.
