Five Vietnamese female scientists were honored by UNESCO

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lang - PhD of new rice varieties, and Dr. Nguyen Thi Mua - author of heat-resistant materials, was awarded the "For the development of women in science" award.

Also within the framework of this award, three outstanding young researchers were awarded the Young Talent Research Fellowship (L'Oreal National Fellowship) at VND 150 million per person.

This scholarship is awarded to female scientists who are no more than 45 years old, have a doctoral degree and have a promising scientific research project in the fields of life science and material science.

Three young scientists were awarded scholarships to continue their research: Associate Prof. Dr. Do Thi Ha (deputy head of the Department of Plant Chemistry, Institute of Medicine), Dr. Do Thi Phuc (lecturer of University of Science) course - Hanoi National University) and Dr. Nguyen Thi Hiep (lecturer of International University - National University of Ho Chi Minh City).
