Flying species in Con Dao (Part 2)

At the end of the mating season of the black-backed mantle, in Con Dao, there are quite a number of other birds, the white pups often perch on the branches every afternoon when they look very happy.

Everything was well arranged, moving in the bamboo forest was quite difficult, but it was thanks to these bamboos that the seabirds of all species had an ideal environment. Over the course of a year, above the bamboo ranges here are never absent from seabirds.

Unlike the terns, the young white frogs are hatched in the upper nests, their food is in contrast to the terns, they only eat nuts, small fruits and plant shoots. Perhaps so their maturity time is not as fast as in the terns.

The white rodents in Vietnam are only found in Con Dao, they live on islands with green forests, especially secondary forests or mangroves. In breeding season, they usually lay between 1 and 2 eggs. The young hatchlings after hatching are usually hatched by the mother bird, and the time-of-hatching birds are separated. The mother bird went to look for food during the day, returned to the hamlet all night. Outside, there was a white fur when growing up with a creamy white coat, blue gray eyes and edges.

The spectacle of the early sea space is amazing, the birds after a restful night resting in the space like enjoying the refreshment of the small island dawn, embalming themselves in the fresh sea flavor of a new day. And in the bustle of this heavenly society, there seems to be something mysterious and sacred happening in the cliffs and trees. Alternating with the slantous slantings of the roaring, liberal species, there are peaceful and peaceful moments.

In addition to the idyllic terns, the mothers are happy with the tiny egg that has just been born in the rock hole - the result of the natural function of maintaining the instinct. The little creatures hidden under the belly of the mother birds in the cliff are the continuation of a great relay of creation. That great run has maintained the ocean space a prosperous society of flying species.

In the vast space between the sky and the sea, birds such as swallow, white knuckles, nicoba or countless other endemic species have become a hyphen. That brick has stretched the space of the sky and sea, narrowing the distance and more specifically, it has erased the boundaries of nature and people.

The equality of flying species in a place where their life is not threatened by human encroachment has allowed each species to grow their number and species.

With high humidity always maintained in dense forests, organisms including plants and animals have been conditioned to develop their relatives' lives with high diversity. That living condition is like a comfortable cradle that provides extremely rich nutrients for all species. The abundance of birds is not an exception, from the swarms of terns and stoned to the deep birds wary on the edge of the nest, then the birds take care of the little children . all contribute to the excitement of a sea-flying society.

Going deep into Ma Thien Lanh forest, where there is a cave of Our Lady, you will hope to see other special flying species of Con Dao. One of them is the big bird called Nicoba . This extremely rare pigeon species in Vietnam is only present in Con Dao. These birds are not easily accessible, they will fly as soon as they see the cave.

Unlike the terns, Nicoba pigeons do not go out to feed, but only go one by one or couple. This bird does not live close to the edge of the sea and on rock embankments, they discreetly recede deeper into the dense canopy of trees. Nicoba pigeons choose the nesting place more carefully and discreetly than the white crawler, their nest is made under a lot of foliage and tree branches.

The waves crashed deeper into the rocky shore, signaling the rising tide when the sun was falling. The white rain and terns of the species have returned to the nest where the tops and cliffs are. The mother worm also returned to the nest for the young birds as usual. The space where the sea cliff is suddenly noisy like a dark apartment building. The young Nicoba dove in the nest doesn't seem to be impatient by the neighbors' commotion.

At the cliff close to the water's edge, there were very special, tangled sounds emanating from the high rock. Above, the swift birds swirled around the outside and flew straight into the wall of the cave. The cave is quite hepatic, just enough for two people to get in, and above the standing stones there are lovely white nest of bird nest.

Every few white spots bunch into a cluster, the oats often nest on the cliffs standing in the ravine close to the sea. Each nest has a size of more than 10cm 2 , enough to hold 1 to 2 small eggs of bird nest. This is their annual incubation period.

At the time of February to April every year, this bird nest is concentrated in the craggy cliffs and few species can come to nest and lay eggs. There are many locations in Con Dao that meet the conditions of this precious bird's birth. Apart from the small bamboo island, Viet Minh cave is also an ideal breeding ground for this species. Only 15 minutes by canoe, you can reach the Viet Minh cave.
