The German government decided to support 1.4 million euros for people heavily affected by floods in the Mekong Delta region.

The remaining 1 million euro, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) continues to support development cooperation activities with Vietnam.

The support projects this time will focus in the Mekong Delta region and aim to build coastal protection lines, upgrade and improve infrastructure damaged by floods and help people people rebuild their lives.
