Giant pythons climb the tree swallowing bats

A couple in Australia was shocked to find the giant python swallowing bats in their backyard.

The couple Mille Stoevring and Shane Tuer found a 3-meter long python hanging from a tree and tried to swallow the baby after their garden at Sunshine Beach near Noosa, Queensland, Australia.

When the Australian couple found out, the python swallowed most of the bat with only long black wings left. But more than 30 minutes later, the python can swallow all the prey into the abdomen.

'We filmed at a distance of only 20 cm, but the python was not afraid,' Mille Stoevring said. 'It was an amazing sight.

Ms. Stoevring said that when she swallowed her prey, the body-hanging python stood upright on the tree branch with a bulging middle. After that, it slowly crawled into the bush to rest.
