List of Purine-rich foods

Purine is a nitrogen compound with a double-ring molecular structure, such as adenine and guanine, which forms nucleic acid nucleotides. Uric acid is the final product of purine metabolism.

Protein-rich meat and fish foods are especially high in purines and can lead to a risk of gout. Some foods have a high purine content. Based on purine content in products, it is divided into 3 food groups: Group A (low purine content), Group B (average purine content), Group C (high purine content).
