Nearly 100 years after excavating the grave, scientists have yet to find the lost heart of Pharaoh Tutankhamun and the reason why it disappeared without a trace.

According to Ancient Origins, Tutankhamun's pharaoh's tomb was first discovered in 1922 and excavated in later years. This is one of the most magnificent tombs of ancient Egypt and also contains many mysteries.

The first mystery is that the black liquid plastic is unusually heavily used in graves. They are poured into Tutankhamun's coffin and body. These oils and fats, which were used for the purpose of " rebirth ", caused chemical reactions that severely degraded the mummy . The researchers found evidence that this resin was poured into the skull of King Tutankhamun twice. According to them, the skin and cloth wrapped with mummies covered 20 liters of marinated oil.

" Most of the mysteries are behind this black oil, " Howard Carter, an archaeologist, said in October 1925. When excavated, the mummy of King Tutankhamun was described as " burnt ", in the tomb also appeared a few pieces of cloth wrapped in flax like they were burned.

According to X-ray results, the mummy may have been hung up for a while. Most likely, the whole process of burial takes place very sloppily. This is quite strange because the art of embalming has reached its peak at this stage.

Scholars hypothesize that the burials tried to portray Tutankhamun as god Osiris, the god of hell. This is shown on Tutankhamun's north wall. The paintings in the tomb often show the image of the dead or the dead being welcomed by god Osiris. The worship of himself or the posture of mummification with Tutankhamun's waist also showed that he wanted to become Osiris. Researchers speculate Tutankhamun wants to change the religious order of Akhenaten.

The heart is an important part of ancient Egyptian culture. Ancient Egyptians believed that in order to revive in the afterlife, they needed a complete body. Although there were 4 vases of the vessel in Tutankhamun's tomb, the scientists did not find the heart of this pharaoh. His heart was replaced by a scarab-shaped stone face .

In fact, the coffin was still intact when the research team found it. Therefore, they rejected the possibility that Tutankhamun's heart was stolen. Maybe his heart was broken during mummification. According to research by Chris Naunton, director of the Egyptian Exploration Association, the heart is more likely to be destroyed in chemical reactions caused by marinated oil and shroud .

Researcher Salima Ikram thinks that if the heart is stolen, grave thieves will be poisoned from oil and shroud. In the case of a broken heart during mummification, it must be replaced with another heart. Another theory is that Tutankhamun's heart was used to serve a new mummification method.

However, the Egyptologist Sofia Aziz said that the heart was not always in a mummy. The brain of the dead is not always removed. Recent research shows that many mummies without hearts or hearts are replaced by a talisman. Tutankhamun's mummy without a heart is not a special case.

According to the researchers' guess, if Tutankhamun really wanted to restore the myth of Osiris, his heart could be buried in sectarian centers related to god Osiris or at Abydos, where one of the His main worship center.
