Octopuses often change color to camouflage, escape enemies or hunt.

Herd has never seen octopuses use so many colors at the same time."Each part of the octopus is a unique color, the scene at the time looks interesting. I often only see them with darker purple or completely white colors to mingle around , " he said.

"The common octopus usually lives only a year or two in the wild. This octopus is quite large, so I guess it's in the middle," Herd said. He turned the octopus about 15 minutes and left. Meanwhile, the animal kept changing colors.

, escaping from enemies or hunting, Herd said. In the video, the octopus is hunting. It puts the tentacles in the middle of the blocks to make the prey come out.

"I have never seen this unique behavior. The octopus didn't mind the camera and followed me during the dive. I thought it was quite fun when I was around and used me to detect prey. They were one of those. The most intelligent creature, " Herd commented.
