Photograph from NASA discovered thin clouds on Pluto

Image data of the latest Pluto analysis has just been announced by NASA. In this picture, it is seen that a thin cloud envelops the dwarf planet's atmosphere.

The latest image published by NASA belongs to the data collected by NASA from New Horizons spacecraft since July 2015.

The image shows a dark shadow and a rather thin white light halo around it.

According to NASA, the image shows a dark shadow and a rather thin white light halo around it. NASA also suggested that the shooting time may be right when New Horizons is lying in the opposite direction of the sunlight. Therefore, Pluto's atmosphere reflected the bright image and created an extremely impressive scene.

Photographs after being enlarged partly suggest the existence of methane clouds in Pluto's atmosphere. In the enlarged picture on the right, we will see clouds floating in the atmosphere. These clouds reflect very strong light, thus creating big bright spots in the image.

On the opposite side, we can observe the dark surface on Pluto. The picture shows quite rough terrain with many valleys and bumpy peaks on the dwarf planet.

It is known that the above photo was taken from the Ralph / Multispectral Visual Imaging Camera on New Horizons when it was about 21.5 thousand km 2 above the Pluto's surface. The shooting time was only about 19 minutes after New Horizons approached the nearest location. Images have resolutions up to 430 meters / pixel.

The latest images announced by NASA promise to be valuable evidence for humanity to further advance in the future conquest of the universe.
