Revealed when people most easily suffer from back pain

A new study found that back pain is most likely to attack us at the time before lunch and this phenomenon stems from certain causes.

Australian scientists have conducted a unique study to classify the causes of lower back pain according to the risk level. They discovered that we are most likely to suffer from back pain from 7 am to noon. Of which, nearly 40% of sprains or lumbar stiffness occur between 8 and 11 am.

"Our study revealed, not only the prolonged stress on the back leading to back pain. The spinal disc swell with latent fluid buildup makes them more susceptible to stress when loaded." , Professor Manuela Ferreira of the Institute of Global Health George and Sydney Medical School, the head of the new study, said.

Ferreira and her colleagues learned about the cause of lower back pain in 999 patients aged 18 and older who were visiting Sydney hospitals. Patients received requests to reveal what they had done in the four days before their back pain.

The results showed that loss of concentration while performing a task with the greatest risk and pushing the risk of back pain increased 25 times. Manual tasks including uncomfortable postures, such as moving objects that are not close to the body, or related to other people or animals, increase the risk of back pain by 6-8 times. .

Participating in moderate to intense physical activity will increase the risk of sudden back pain attacks 3 times. Meanwhile, fatigue or exhaustion when performing a physical task also increases the risk of back pain near that level.

Contrary to the usual conjecture, the risk of a 60-year-old person having back pain when carrying heavy objects is five times lower than the risk in his 20s. This may be because they have learned how to perform that task. a reasonable way.

According to Professor Ferreira, the key message is that people should be careful when carrying. Even carrying heavy loads, uncomfortable postures or distractions in a short time can trigger back pain. The best way to protect your back is to maintain its movement regularly and reasonably.
