Russian astronauts practice landing on the Moon

Russia is training astronauts with a device to simulate gravity on the Moon in preparation for conquering this object in 2030.

The device was designed by RSC Energia, using Selen technology from the 1960s, to test the difficulty of walking on the Moon and getting out of the astronauts' landing vehicle, according to the Mirror.

Experts from RSC Energia are also designing a new travel suit that makes traveling on the Moon easier.

"Walking on the Moon is not easy, we need special mobility devices, and you need to sit inside them in a comfortable position, then find the right place to put the devices. suffered, " said Alexander Poleshuk, deputy head of the company's research department.

"To do exactly all these things need practice."

After completing the experiment, they will conduct logistics research before designing a shelter on the Moon, moving vehicles, runways and other important parts.

The Russian Space Agency (Roscosmos) will bring a probe to the Moon in 2024 to scout the base points, before taking 12 astronauts there by 2030.
