According to Mr. Han, with this survey and study on biodiversity, Wildlife At Risk helps the locality to know about wildlife living in the mountainous area of Quang Ngai. After that, they will set up a project to call for international organizations to invest in building a center to preserve and breed some rare and precious primates and reptiles in this locality.

Expected, the survey trip will last two weeks.

According to statistics of the Forest Protection Department of Quang Ngai province, with geographical location, diverse terrain and tropical monsoon climate, the province has a rich flora and fauna. Out of 478 terrestrial vertebrate species identified in domestic ecosystems in Quang Ngai province, there are 53 rare animal species recorded by Vietnam Red Book (1992). The rare level of animals here is high compared to many areas in the country.

In the 2006 assessment of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN), 65% of Vietnam's primates are in critical or critically endangered status. So Vietnam is one of the highest priority countries in the world for primate conservation.
