The 250,000-year-old aluminum object suspected of a UFO debris

A large aluminum object dating back to 250,000 years is controversial because it appears much earlier than when people learned of aluminum metal.

The strange aluminum object has recently been controversial because experts say it dates back at least 250,000 years , while humans produce only aluminum metal about 200 years ago, according to Mirror.

In 1973, a group of construction workers working on the banks of the Mures river near Romania's Aiud town found three objects at a depth of 10m below the ground. Due to the seemingly unusual and longstanding digging objects, archaeologists were invited to the scene. They immediately recognized two of the three objects that were animal bone fossils.

The other object is very light, looks like human-produced metal and shaped like an ax. All three items were sent to Cluj city in Transylvania, Romania for further analysis. Experts quickly discovered two large bones belonging to a mammal that died 10,000 to 80,000 years ago. However, the third object surprised them.

According to the test results, the object is made of 12 metals with 90% aluminum, dating back 250,000 years. The result of this assessment was later confirmed by a laboratory in Lausanne, Sweden. Some other experts show different milestones of objects, from 400 to 80,000 years. Even at least 400 years old, the object is still 200 years earlier than the time when humans first learned about aluminum.

The object is 20cm long, 12.5cm wide and 7cm thick. What makes the experts confused is that the metal block has a concave-like part of a complex machine system.

Many hunters of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) believe that this object is the fragment of a flying saucer, evidence that the alien civilization had visited Earth in the past.

Romanian historian Mihai Wittenberger argues that the piece of aluminum is part of the German World War II aircraft, but cannot explain the date of the object. Objects are being exhibited at the Cluj-Napoca Historical Museum with "unidentified" notes .
