The exotic tree blooms only once and then dies

Suicide palm trees only bloom once in a lifetime after 30 years - 80 years. This is also the record flower of the largest flower cluster, from 6m - 8m long with millions of flowers and suicide palm trees that can live up to 50 years.

Suicide palm is one of the world's rarest plants found only in desolate areas in northwest Madagascar. Suicide brush was discovered in 2005, has a height of 18m and fan-shaped foliage up to 5m wide. With this huge size, suicide brushes can be seen on Google Earth.

A special feature of suicide palm is that they only flower once in their lives and then die. The reason for this is because suicide palm takes so much energy to flower, then it fades away and dies. The name 'suicide brush' was born from that.

Suicide brush is in danger of extinction because the number of this species is only a few dozen trees in nature.
