The first alien baby could be born in 2024

A Dutch company is planning to create the first generation born in the use of special assistive technology.

SpaceLife Origin announced the Missions Program 2020-2024 on October 23 with the goal of establishing extraterrestrial sustainability, according to RT. The company plans to apply patent-pending technology to create the first generation of people not born on Earth .

"If humankind wants to be a multi-planet, we also need to learn how to reproduce in the universe," explains Kees Mulder, founder and director of OriginLife Origin. The company plans to complete the first three phases of the plan by 2024, giving birth to the first child in the universe after a 36-hour mission.

Ark mission (2020)

The first phase included bringing 1,000 test tubes covered with radiation-resistant materials containing reproductive cells in women and men, taken from artificial insemination centers around the world, to orbit. Test tubes will be stored in a safe place on the satellite in space to prevent catastrophic destruction.

Lotus mission (2021)

The next stage is to launch a proprietary technology called "Universe - Embryo - Incubator" on orbit. Equipment that already carries reproductive cells in women and men, is automatically fertilized when entering space.

Normal gravity will be created inside the incubator to avoid potential problems caused by the weightless environment. Spacecraft can adjust gravity to simulate the environment on Earth, Moon or Mars.

The incubator will return to Earth after 4 days. Doctors will check for embryos that can survive. At this stage, pregnancy and reproduction will take place on Earth.

Flight Cradle (2024)

The third stage is rated as the most ambitious. In a 24 - 36 hour mission, a pregnant woman will give birth at a height of more than 400km above Earth with the help of a medical team. Appropriate candidates will be selected from 25 participants to achieve the highest success rate. In order to qualify, the mother has to go through two smooth births to reduce the risk for her mother and baby. The selection process will begin in 2022.
