The girl revived after a night of freezing, making medicine impossible to explain

27 years ago Jean Hilliard (USA) was frozen for 6 hours and miraculously revived the doctors.

On the night of December 20, 1980, the weather was cold, the temperature dropped to minus 22 degrees Fahrenheit (-30 degrees Celsius). Jean Hilliard, then 19, drove from your home to his parents' home in Lengby, Minnesota. Suddenly, the girl got lost and drove off the road. The car stopped and could not reboot, Jean decided to walk to Wally Nelson's house - a friend, about 3.2 km away.

Jean Hilliard just wore western shoes, put on a jacket and wore gloves. Clothes were not warm enough, so Jean collapsed onto the street a few meters in front of his friend's door. She lay motionless in the snow until she was discovered by Nelson about 7 am the next morning. At that time, her aunt was as hard as a rock and Nelson had to push her into the backseat of the car and take her to the hospital.

According to Nytimes, doctors at Fosston Hospital were stunned at Jean's condition. They tried to feed her through the veins but the needle could not penetrate the frozen skin. The doctor also could not measure her temperature with a thermometer. Her face and eyes were frozen, unresponsive to light. The patient's body does not respond to any form of medical care.

Dr. George Sather, who treated Jean, said: "Her body is cold, frozen like a piece of meat in a freezer. The limbs cannot be folded or moved. She does not have any. any reaction for about two or three hours after the thaw begins, Jean's heart rate only beat 8 times per minute, body temperature is about 26 degrees C ".

The doctors shook their heads helplessly. They say the cells are completely frozen, the internal organs are also getting colder, the harder it will be for them to function until they completely stop. Even the brain cannot save. Jean will have no hope. The only thing doctors can do for a young girl is to put warm packs around her to raise her body temperature, melting the ice.

At 11:00 noon, Jean began to twitch and regain consciousness miraculously. Everyone around her was amazed. At night, she can move her arms. By the third day, her legs could also move. She had medical treatment for the next 49 days but then recovered completely and did not have to remove even one finger.

To date, no one knows how the girl's body can completely recover from such hard freezing state. Jean Hilliard's case is still a mystery of medicine.
