The hidden room in King Tut's tomb is full of treasures

The Egyptian Tourism Minister revealed the room that researchers found in King Tutankhamun's tomb filled with treasures, marking a concussion discovery of the 21st century.

During a visit to Spain a few weeks ago, Hisham Zaazou, the Egyptian Tourism Minister, said the startling information about the hidden chamber of the Egyptian king Tutankhamun will be officially announced at the press conference. in April.

According to Ancient Origins, the Egyptian Antiquities Department began using high-tech equipment to analyze inside King Tutankhamun's tomb on November 4, 2015, after preliminary scans of the tomb of infrared tombs indicated the area. The area has a higher heat background, more likely to be a hidden room.

The scans were designed to test archaeologist Nicholas Reeves's hypothesis. According to Reeves, Tutankhamun's tomb consists of two hidden rooms and one of them is the final resting place of Queen Nefertiti. The scan shows up to 90% of the room behind the wall.

Reeves first suspected of having a hidden room in King Tutankhamun's grave while examining the scans of artwork on the grave wall in detail. Reeves noticed the cracks indicating the existence of two sealed doors on the north and west walls of the grave.

According to Reeves, the tomb of King Tutankhamun was not completed when he died suddenly in 1332 BC. Therefore, Tutankhamun was buried in the tomb of Queen Nefertiti, the official wife of his father, pharaoh Akhenaten.

Egyptian Minister of Antiquities Antiquities al-Damati believes that the mummy buried in King Tutankhamun's tomb likely belongs to Kiya, another wife of Akhenaten.

During the visit, Zaazou also made another assumption that the hidden room was empty but he asserted that this hypothesis was completely wrong."The room is not empty. It is full of treasures. This will be a historic moment , " ABC quoted Zaazou.

However, Nile Magazine said that the revelations before Zaazou's press conference may be aimed at attracting tourists to Egypt.
