The lesson from Alexander the last wish

On the triumph after conquering many countries, in 323 BC, Alexander the Great fell ill. At that moment, he realized that death was near and he could not return to his homeland. The lands you occupy, the mighty army, the sharp swords, the riches . all have no meaning. He called the soldier and said: 'I'm going to leave this world. I have three wishes and follow it . ' The generals chanted obedience in tears.

The final wishes of Alexander the Great when dying. Sir Alexander the Great summoned the court officials to convey his last three wishes. He said:

  1. His coffin must be carried away by the best physicians of the time.
  2. All his treasures (gold, silver, jewels, etc.) must be spread along the path to his grave, and .
  3. His hands must be swayed, dangling in the air, sticking out of the coffin to let everyone see.

One of his courtiers, very surprised at these strange requests, and asked Sir Alexander why he wanted it.

Sir Alexander explained as follows:

  1. We want the best physicians (doctors) to carry our coffin to show people that once faced with death, they themselves are the best . to cure.
  2. I want my treasure to be scattered on the ground to show people that the wealth and property that we have gathered in this world will remain in this world forever (once we close our eyes. hands from the realm of life).
  3. I want my hand to swing in the air, to show people that we come to this world with empty hands and when we leave this world we only have two empty hands.

By the end of our life, we will realize that the most precious treasure in this life is: Love.
