With age 62, a female albatross named " Wisdom ", considered the oldest bird on the planet. Even so, it has been laying eggs for 6 years, Discovery reported.

Wisdom is one of the tracking subjects of the North American Nesting Program (NABBP). " This albatross lays eggs regularly and flies to the Pacific Ocean every year, " said Bruce Piterdzhon, manager of NABBP.

Chandler Robbins - a biologist - discovered and wore the ring on Wisdom's leg in 1956, when it incubated an island in the Pacific Ocean. At that time, it lived for at least 5 years.

The life of seagulls in the natural environment is about 15-20 years. They can fly continuously and only land for reproduction.
