The 'blood moon' phenomenon will start from 22:00 tonight and and last until 8/8 am . 'However, the time of observing' moonlight 'is especially clear at 1am 8/8 . At this point, a part of the moon will turn crimson, ' Phuong said.

  1. According to Mr. Phuong, in Hanoi, people can organize a group of observations at two locations, namely My Dinh National Stadium gate, Cau Giay district; Savico Megamall Commercial Center, Long Bien District.
  2. In TP. Ho Chi Minh City can be observed in the area of the Language Flagpole , the foot of Khanh Hoi Bridge, District 1. Or choose the area that is large and not obstructed by tall buildings , where there is fresh air and avoid light. .

Mr. Phuong said that due to the partial eclipse of the eclipse, the association would not organize observations in a specific area in Hanoi. The members of the association agreed to observe the phenomenon at home.

Previously, on the evening of April 3, 2015, in Hanoi, many people saw the big moon in orange-red, similar to the total eclipse. In 2016, the phenomenon of total eclipse does not appear in the sky of Hanoi.

Partial eclipse is a phenomenon that occurs when the Moon is obscured by the Earth, not illuminated by the Sun. The darkness of the Earth will obscure the Moon and the eclipse occurs. When the Moon goes deeper than the Earth's shadow, the Moon will gradually change color, changing from silver to orange or red. '
