One crew member was killed and four others were injured, two seriously, following a mishap during a safety drill aboard the Harmony of the Seas cruise ship, The Independent reported Tuesday.
The Royal Caribbean ship, which had its maiden voyage less than four months ago, was docked in the French city of Marseille when a lifeboard containing the five victims dislodged from the ship.
"We are sorry to share the sad news that a crew member aboard Harmony of the Seas has died of injuries suffered during a lifeboat drill conducted while docked at the port of Marseille, France.

"Four other crew members received medical treatment in the same incident. We are keeping our colleagues and their families in our thoughts and prayers," Royal Caribbean said in a statement.
