To observe Venus, you should look at the western horizon - northwest after sunset. The brightness of Venus is so great that you can see it within 45 minutes of sunset. However, Venus appears in a very low position - just above the horizon, Space reports.

Venus and Mercury will "dance" together in the night sky for the next 10 days. Currently, Mercury is on the left and above Venus. But on June 18, the two planets will be on the same level and Venus on the right, Mercury on the left. Mercury's brightness will gradually decrease after this day.

By June 21, Mercury will move downwards and to the left of Venus. Meanwhile Venus will continue to be present in the night sky until the end of 2013.
