Yonhap news agency said some historians did not rule out the possibility that the two were arranged to describe intercourse posture. However, many opinions disagree and assume that the skeleton of men is not above the remaining skeleton.

" This is not the first case that men are sacrifices in the female tomb discovered. However, they are often buried separately in the chamber of relics as a bodyguard for the dead" , Korea JoongAng Daily quoted. Kim Kwon-il, researcher of Silla Cultural Heritage, said.

Based on historical records, scientists identified the woman as an important figure in the aristocracy , riding horses and using weapons. The Silla Dynasty once had a queen who ruled and respected the role of women.

In the excavation area, the archaeological group found meticulously decorated gold earrings, while the woman's skeleton was carefully arranged, facing the sky. In another room, they found swords, armor and ceramics. The tomb can be built around the end of the 5th century and early 6th century.
