Unexpected discovery in the first homeland of mankind

Scientists discovered traces of paint, commercial transactions and many useful tools from a village located in the first human homeland.

The latest archaeological evidence published by a group of scientists from many institutes and schools in the US has shown that early humans were not as miserable as many people believe.

One of the first villages of - species that evolved into real people and are our ancestors today - has been examined in detail.

The 65km 2 survey area shows incredible evidence of the development of technology for making tools and social interactions 500,000 years ago - (provided by the research team).

The village is located in a valley in Kenya, in the area known as the first homeland of the human race. According to Dr. Rick Potts (Smithsonian Institute, USA), the oldest artifacts dating back to 700,000 years are stone axes. The level of human science and technology seems to stall for a long time, until 500,000 years ago, suddenly "something changed".

Archaeologists found the vestiges of the technology of manufacturing tools to 500,000 years ago. They had sharp, small blades and a few strange tools made from volcanic glass , which could be picked up after the volcano erupted. They are used as spear blades, tipheads and knives.

More specifically, they found a dazzling yellow color. This is a chemical to paint the "body paiting" of the ancient people in order to beautify the ceremonial events. Some arrows, spears and axes are also painted gold.

People of this period live in small groups of 20-25 people. Scientists were surprised to find the interaction between these groups and the evidence that interaction is the same as trading, buying and selling is no different from what we are today!

According to Dr. Potts, the ancient people traveled 25-95km to find the good materials they needed to make the tool. Sometimes they trade, exchange materials with other groups.

Professor Chris Stringer from the Museum of Natural History said this shows that the Middle Stone Age began 315,000 years ago, earlier than we thought. The oldest Homo sapiens fossils found in Morocco date to 300,000-350,000 years old, but the evidence suggests that human civilization originated much earlier.
