Architecture is always geared towards breakthroughs and greenness as possible. And with this residential architecture called Quadrant Home, it has achieved both of the above criteria.
KWK Promes , a Polish architectural firm, was given the task of building a house in the central Polish suburbs. However, this is not a simple traditional house but it can "react" to sunlight.
The house designed by KWK Promes, Quadrant Home , can change shape according to the sunlight.
Quadrant Home has L-shaped architecture and the body can move automatically between the spa room and the living room. From there light can go into the living room or create shade when needed.
According to KWK Promes, depending on the time of year, the house will adjust the amount of light entering the house. In summer, this design makes the house cooler and winter allows more light to enter the house.
In the yard there is a rail system that is attached to the ground to allow the house to move at will. The whole process of moving is done automatically through the sensor system.
Thus, the movement speed is adjusted to match the Sun's movement. Of course, you can also push the room to move by hand. Besides, the house also has an automatic curtain adjustment system.
It is worth mentioning that the front of the house looks quite simple with only one door and a garage, all around it are walls.
Although the front design looks a bit monotonous, the open space to the garden creates an airy and spacious impression.
