Alexander von Humboldt Scholarship Fund is a private science support fund established in Germany, offering scholarships to 2,000 foreign scientists to study in Germany each year. The Foundation supports outstanding researchers and young scientists around the world, thereby expanding opportunities for collaboration with German scientists.

From 1953 up to now, more than 60 scholarships have been awarded to Vietnamese scientists, thereby contributing to strengthening scientific and cultural exchanges between Germany and Vietnam.
