What is the meaning of the colored lines on the toothpaste tube?

Surely among us, everyone has ever wondered about the small color line at the end of the toothpaste tube, cosmetics . So what is the meaning of those colored lines and what do they affect the use process? or not?

I decided to find an answer with enthusiastic help from Professor Google. First, I found information that the colored lines are called "color code " and based on those colors, people divided the products into the following categories:

  1. Green: 100% natural
  2. Blue: natural and pharmaceutical mixtures
  3. Red: a mixture of nature and chemicals.
  4. Black: 100% chemicals.

Listening through is pretty . logical right? However, in my mind now I ask many questions like: What about the white line? Why is toothpaste completely from nature? The package has a black stripe, maybe made from 100% chemicals?

Fiction!

So what do these lines really mean? The answer turned out to be very simple: that color line is for marking!

This color line is called Eye mark (or Eye spot). In the production line, the tubes are usually sealed at one end, the other end is open to pump the product into. Then, thanks to the eye points on the machines that can seal the head remains exactly in a very short time. The device used to identify these eye points is often called Eye mark Sensor . You can see the video below to understand how they work:

As we have seen, these machines use light sensors and laser lights to identify eye spots, so if the packaging is white, the right eye spot has a different color, such as black, blue . to avoid the possibility of cutting the wrong product. This is also the answer why the eye points have different colors.

Hopefully, through this article, you will have a basic knowledge but very few people pay attention. At the same time, consider and assess the information on the internet carefully, don't become a victim of false rumors!
