Animals are honored by courage

The Dickin Charity for the Injured Animal Foundation PDSA is the highest honorary medal in the animal kingdom, valued at the same level as the Victoria Cross of the British Army.

According to Mother Nature Network, Lucca is the most recent animal received the Dickin medal . Lucca completed 400 missions during his six years in the US Navy in Afghanistan. It received the medal in April 2016, becoming the first US Navy dog ​​to receive this award.
