Microsoft continues to sell additional 7,000 software licenses to Vietinbank

Also on April 9, 2008, Kevin Turnet and Vietnamese officials witnessed the signing of a software license agreement under a business agreement (EA) between Microsoft and Vietinbank.

Accordingly, Vietinbank will install and use copyrighted software for all servers and workstations on the Bank's IT system. At the same time, Microsoft also provides technical support to help Vietinbank successfully deploy this project using software copyright.

Under this agreement, Vietinbank is one of the largest commercial banks in Vietnam to invest in software licenses. 7,000 Microsoft Office Standard 2007 versions will be installed for Vietinbank machines.

According to the information we have obtained, also during this visit of Kevin Turner, Microsoft will also work with the Vietnamese Government on a co-operation to develop e-government in Hai Phong city.
