China confirmed two more cases of H7N9 flu
Chinese health authorities on March 18 confirmed two more cases of H7N9 avian influenza virus infection in Hunan and Guangdong provinces.

According to the Guangdong Provincial Department of Health, the two patients are all elderly, in which one person is in critical condition, the 73-year-old Mr. Wen lives in Longgang District of Shenzhen City in the province.
The other patient is a 75-year-old woman, Cao, who is currently being treated at a hospital in Chenzhou City in Hunan Province. Hunan Provincial Health Department said the patient was the 16th H7N9 infection in Hunan province, of which 5 patients recovered.
In addition, the Hong Kong Department of Health (China) said a 5-month-old girl in this administrative district had flu symptoms after arriving in Longgang. Health authorities in Shenzhen are currently monitoring people who regularly contact this girl.
H7N9 flu broke out in mainland China in February 2013. So far China has confirmed more than 370 cases of H7N9 influenza virus infection, mostly in the South, of which only in January last year there were 127 cases with 31 deaths.
