CinemaNow announces the service of downloading & burning DVDs
This online movie site has launched a new service, allowing customers to download movies from the Internet, shoot movies to DVD and enjoy on any standard DVD player.
This brand-new, legal download and copy service marks an important step forward for Hollywood in the process of searching for profits from the Internet - something they had previously reserved for all kinds of disparate words, chants and criticize.
In the end, American film and television studios also realized that they could make a lot of money from selling movies and TV shows online. Even the Internet has opened the door for "stirring up" old movies - which Hollywood is prepared to shelter after the end of its release life.
Going to revolution

CinemaNow did exactly this principle, and the list of 100 old movies is just a prelude. From the movie Angels of Charlie 2 (2003) to "Scent of a Woman" (1992), users can completely watch the movie "once a time" with very cheap price.
Many optimists also say that in the long run, online movie selling services like CinemaNow can completely replace DVD rental or retail services like Blockbuster and Netflix.
With CinemaNow and main rival Movielink, downloading and copying are considered the most important missing links, because these services are closely tied to technology and copyright. Moreover, many film studios are worried that allowing the shooting of movies on DVD will abide by pirated movies.
Therefore, CinemaNow's new service is considered a small "ideological revolution" in Hollywood. CinemaNow itself calls this "the most important product ever released throughout its business history".
Commenting on the event, Benjamin Feingold, president of Sony's home entertainment and digital download division, thinks this is the "most appropriate" time. There are many reasons to cite, including advances in copy protection technology and the fact that users have begun to accept download movies.
Things just started from last April, but the movie download industry is growing at a dizzying pace. At that time, the studios only accepted to download the link to the computer according to the rental model: The movie link was saved in the machine for a while before being automatically deleted.
Easily review on TV
Most importantly, CinemaNow's service is now "portable", meaning customers can burn DVDs, take them with them and review them easily on any TV screen.
Previously, this was an impossible or extremely torn way, which could make even the most enthusiastic users.
From today, CinemaNow's download and copy service will provide movies from Walt Disney, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Sony Pictures, LionsGate Entertainment and Universal Pictures. The starting price will be US $ 8.99 and DVD content will not only include movies but also include menus, games, exclusive interviews with directors .
The time for downloading and burning discs can be several hours depending on the content, bandwidth connection and other factors.
However, users will only be able to record a single DVD. This is the condition for CinemaNow to counteract copyright copying.
CinemaNow's service came just a day after Movielink announced it had acquired the download and copy technology license. However, Movielink's service will take at least 6 months to be deployed.
