Scientists hope to develop a special electronic nose like the dog's nose to detect cancer in the future.

Two three-year-old Labrador dogs are trained to recognize prostate cancer through volatile organic compounds at the Italian Ministry of Defense's Veterinary Veterinary Center, Mother Nature Network said.

As a result, after sniffing 400 urine samples, a dog discovered a person with prostate cancer with 100% accuracy, while the second one was 98.6%.

Not only can prostate cancer, dogs can sniff out many other cancers like breast, ovarian, colon, bladder, skin and lung cancer.

Cancer causes the patient's body to release a special kind of organic substance, and the dog senses but humans do not. With 220 million olfactory cells in the nose, the ability to sniff is a million times higher than that of humans.

Many owners recount the story of their dogs acting strangely, constantly sniffing or sniffing on a body area, after seeing a doctor, discover that it is a tumor-containing area .
