The turtle was released to the sea on the afternoon of May 3, 2011.
After hearing that a marine fisherman in Quynh Luu caught a rare and precious turtle, in the afternoon of May 3, Nghe An Provincial Department of Aquatic Resources Protection cooperated with the Border Guard, Quynh Luu District and the authorities. Tien Thuy commune meets with fishermen families who own turtles to negotiate so they can return to the sea as soon as possible.
After nearly an afternoon of analysis and persuasion, mobilizing at the end of the afternoon on May 3, the turtle was agreed to release to the sea by the fishermen and the authorities also supported the family with a sum of money. small. At exactly 19:00, 3/5, this strange turtle was released to the sea. Before being released to the sea, this turtle is still very healthy.
Thus, after more than 2 days of being locked up in the creek, the strange turtle is released to the sea.

Earlier, on January 3 , 2011 , Mr. Le Tien Lieu, Quynh Phuong commune, Quynh Luu while fishing in the sea between Vietnam and China, caught the turtle weighing more than 70 kg, about 1m long. , the width of the largest spot is 70cm. Not long ago, on April 25 , 2010, fishermen in Quynh Lap commune and Quynh Luu caught a moon fish weighing 30.5kg, about 80cm long. The Moon fish was then donated by fishermen to the Vietnam Nature Museum to do scientific research and exhibits.
The moon fish was beaten by Quynh Luu fishermen on April 25, 2010.
