The above behavior is that of two monkeys named and Kesho, 13 years old and Alf, 9 years old, took place at Longleat Safari, Wiltshire.
Kesho and Alf were both born and raised in Dublin Zoo, Germany. But then the zoo staff sent Kesho to London to join the breeding program, while Alf was transferred to Longleat Safari, BBC said.

After nearly 3 years, Kesho was sent back to England with Alf. What surprised the zoo staff was that Alf immediately recognized the monkey he met again.
Mark Tye, the custodian of the monkeys at the park, said: "At first we didn't think they could recognize each other, but as soon as they met, everyone could feel the emotions in their eyes. This is the best thing I've ever seen.
