For the first time, NASA can create a three-dimensional map for the surface of the planet closest to the Sun. By using thousands of photographs taken by Messenger satellites after a year of being launched into orbit to carry out its mission, NASA was able to fully build Mercury's surface.

The vibrant colors in the map represent different stone components on Glass. This explains why we often see the Mercury image with a cloudy brown color and not as sharp and yellow blue as on a three-dimensional map.

This map was revealed at the meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Boston, according to BBC.

Dr. David Blewett from Johns Hopkins University explained to BBC News: "The areas you see in orange are the volcanic plains. There are quite a number of fairly deep green areas in the area. there are mysterious unexplored minerals ".

"And then you see blue streaks of light appearing on Mercury's surface, which are rays from the crater formed by collisions with meteorites scattered across the surface."
