According to the project, many wildlife species of Namibia will be taken to Cuba by plane in September. Cuba will then apply special safeguards to these animals in some national parks. in this country.

Mr. Pohamba Shifeta, Namibia's Tourism Minister, said the project aims to establish a wildlife protection program in Cuba, and this shows Namibia's support for Cuba.

Namibia received many help from Cuba in the war of independence from South Africa in the 1970s - 1980s. Namibia now transports about 120 wild animals to Cuba. In November, Namibia is expected to introduce 23 new species to Cuba, including species that are in danger of extinction such as rhino, leopard and lion.
